Der udføres flyvemedicinsk certificering i henhold til EASA retningslinjer for Class I (Commercial Pilot License og Airline Transport Pilot License), Class II (Private Pilot License), Class III (Air Traffic Control Officer), Class LAPL (Light Aircraft Pilot License) og Class CC (Cabin Crew). Der udstedes førstegangs certificering, fornyelse samt forlængelse. Førstegangs certificering af Class I og Class III kan alene gøres ved et flyvemedicinsk center, der findes for nuværende ingen flyvemedicinske centre i Danmark. Ansøgere for førstegangs certificering af Class I og Class III henvises til flyvemedicinske centre i Oslo, Stockholm eller Malmø.

Aeromedical certification is carried out in accordance with EASA guidelines for Class I (Commercial Pilot License and Airline Transport Pilot License), Class II (Private Pilot License), Class III (Air Traffic Control Officer), Class LAPL (Light Aircraft Pilot License) and Class CC (Cabin Crew). Initial certification, renewal and revalidation can be issued. Initial certification of Class I and Class III can only be done at an aeromedical center, currently there is no such aeromedical centers in Denmark. Applicants for first-time certification of Class I and Class III are referred to aeromedical centers in Oslo, Stockholm or Malmö.

Certificeringen består af en lægelig undersøgelse samt vurdering i henhold til EASA retningslinjer med dertilhørende medicinsk spørgeskema. Det medicinske spørgeskema (ansøgningsskema) skal medbringes i fyldt til undersøgelsen. Udstedelsen af certifikatet sker umiddelbart i forlængelse af undersøgelsen, dette dog ikke i situationer hvor der foreligger uafklarede punkter eller berøring af områder der påkræver konsultering med eller henvisning til den civile luftfartsmyndighed. Læg minimum halvanden time af til undersøgelsen.

The certification consists of a medical examination and assessment according to EASA guidelines with the associated medical questionnaire. The medical questionnaire (application form) must be completed and brought to the examination. The certificate is issued immediately following the examination, however, this does not apply in situations where there are unresolved points or areas that require consultation with or referral to the civil aviation authority. Please set aside at least one and a half hour for the examination.

Til undersøgelserne skal der medbringes et udfyldt ansøgningsskema. For Class I og Class III skal der ligeledes medbringes et udfyldt Mental Health spørgeskema.

For the examinations, a completed application form must be brought. For Class I and Class III, a completed Mental Health questionnaire must also be brought to the examination.

Såfremt der ikke foreligger nogen kendt sygdom eller forhold i henhold til det udfyldte ansøgningsskema er der i udgangspunktet ikke krav om yderligere dokumentation fra ansøger. Såfremt der er kendt sygdom eller forhold ud fra det i fyldte ansøgningskema skal krav af dokumentation i form af læge journaler i udgangspunktet forventes. Dette er specielt gældende ved nytilkommen sygdom eller forhold opstået siden forrige undersøgelse. Såfremt man har tidligere kendt sygdom, kronisk sygdom eller anden tidligere forhold som er håndteret ved anden flyvelæge bedes journal fra dette fremsendes. Dette sker ved at sende en e-mail til medical@trafikstyrelsen.dk hvor man giver trafikstyrelsen fuldmagt til at fremsende tidligere relevante undersøgelser.

If there is no known illness or condition according to the completed application form, there is no requirement of additional documentation from the applicant. If there is a known illness or condition based on the completed application form, further documentation in the form of medical records should be expected. This is especially true for newly diagnosed illnesses or conditions that have arisen after the previous aeromedical examination.. If any previously known illness, chronic illness or other previous condition has been handled by another Aeromedical Examiner, please submit the records from your previous Aeromedical Examiner. This is done by sending an e-mail to medical@trafikstyrelsen.dk where you give the Danish Transport Authority authorization to forward previous relevant examinations.

Ved undersøgelsen skal et gyldigt pas eller kørekort medbringes. Ved forlængelse eller fornyelse skal seneste Medical Certificate medbringes. Ved anvendelse af briller eller kontaktlinser skal disse medbringes sammen med et brillekort / brillerecept fra optiker eller øjenlæge ved førstegangsundersøgelser, ved fornyelser samt forlængelser alene hvis der er sket ændring i synet. Kontaktlinser skal ikke anvendes på selve undersøgelses dagen (to døgn for hårde kontaktlinser) men skal medbringes. For Class I ansøger skal EAMR nummer medbringes, hvis man ikke har dette kan vi i langt de fleste tilfælde finde det ved en søgning, sjældent er der behov for telefonisk kontakt til relevant civil luftfartsmyndigheden.

A valid passport or driving license must be brought to the examination. For revalidation or renewal, the latest Medical Certificate must be brought. When using glasses or contact lenses, these must be brought along with a prescription from an optician or ophthalmologist for initial examinations, for revalidations and renewals only if there has been a change in vision. Contact lenses should not be used on the day of the examination itself (two days for hard contact lenses) but must be brought to the examination. For Class I applicants, the EAMR-number must be known. If the EAMR-number is not know we will be able to find it in the database in almost all cases, bring with you both passport, driving license and national identification card.

Forlængelses og fornyelses undersøgelser kan foretages fra den 45. dag inden udløbsdato på gældende Medical med bibeholdelse af dennes gyldighedsdato. Alternativt vil udgangspunktet for den nye Medical udgå fra undersøgelsesdagen.

Revalidation and renewal examinations can be carried out 45 days before the expiry date of the current Medical, maintaining its validity date.

De oplyste priser gælder selve undersøgelserne. Såfremt undersøgelserne falder ud med en uegnethedserklæring vil beløbet til betaling forsat være gældende. Undersøgelses priserne modsvarer en times undersøgelse, ved behov for gennemgang af større journal materiale vil det ekstra tidsforbrug tillægges, se priser under sygdom. Ved behov for gennemgang af større journal materiale bør i man varsle herom.

The prices stated apply to the examinations themselves. If the examinations result in a declaration of unsuitability, the amount to be paid will still apply. The examination prices correspond to one hour of examination, if there is a need to review larger scope of medical records, the extra time will be added, see prices under sygdom.

Ved bookning af undersøgelse accepteres ovenstående, herunder at eventuel journal sendes til relevant civil luftfartsmyndighed. Ved manglende fremmøde uden forudgående aflysning debiteres med DKK 1000. Tid kan aflyses uden ekstra omkostning op til to døgn inden undersøgelses tidspunktet, og mod et gebyr på DKK 500 op til tolv timer inden. Ved manglende medbragte dokumenter, tilstande der kræver yderligere afklaring eller i forordningen påkrævet konsultation med eller henvisning til civil luftfartsmyndighed vil administrations omkostninger tillægges efter tidsforbrug, se priser under sygdom. Betaling sker med MobilePay eller kontant.

When booking an examination, the above conditions is accepted, including that the medical record is sent to the relevant civil aviation authority. In case of non-attendance without prior cancellation, a fee of DKK 1000 will be charged. Appointments can be cancelled without extra cost up to two days before the examination time, and for a fee of DKK 500 up to twelve hours before. In the case of missing necessary documents, conditions requiring further clarification or consultation with or referral to a civil aviation authority as required by the regulation, administration costs will be added based on time spent, see prices under sygdom.
